Notes

Three recently qualified doctors presented projects they had completed last year during their Final Year Undergraduate Elective.

Dr Hannah O'Neill (Sir Ashley MacIntosh award)

The Application of the World Health Organisation's 'Safe Childbirth Checklist' at Felege Hiwot Referral Hospital, Bahir Dar, Ethiopia

 

Dr Erwan Elias (Sir James McGregor award)

Nutrition and the recreational cyclist: a tour across Great Britain

 

All three presented good projects and received a number of questions from the audience of MedSoc and Med-Chi members.

During voting, Dr Donald Thomas, Electives Convenor gave a short presentation about Medical Electives.

The audience chose Dr Hannah O'Neill as the recipient of the Adam Quaich which was presented by Med-Chi Honorary Secretary, Dr Ken McHardy.
