Miss Moira McCormack MSc, Physiotherapist – Dance Specialist.

Moira McCormack is a Chartered Physiotherapist and former professional dancer who has worked with the Royal Ballet Company since 2002 as Head of Physiotherapy, creating full interdisciplinary care for the company.

She is based at the Institute of Sport Exercise and Health, where her research interests are in hypermobility, classical ballet, injury prevention and performance enhancement. She has developed a specific scoring system for joint laxity in dancers.
